Heart of Hospice Encourages an Emotional Bond

Over the years our team members have been blessed with notes, cards and letters from families that have touched our hearts. Please read some excerpts below:

"I can’t even begin to put into words my feelings towards you. I do realize you were doing your job, but at the same time I saw you with my son. You gave to him who you are inside (your motherly traits weren’t part of the job). You gave him the opportunity to be at peace knowing he could trust and rely on you.

It wasn’t just what you gave and did for my son. You gave me the confidence and courage to persevere every day. You truly were given to us as his guardian angel. May God bless you in every way through your life for being such a loving and caring person.

Thanks for everything! God Bless."

"On behalf of the entire family I want to tell you how much we appreciate the loving care you gave to Mom in recent months and especially the final weeks. She was always so glad to see you and you made her feel so good – which, of course, in turn made us feel pretty wonderful too.

Thank you, I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet you and hope to see you on a return trip to Hood River.

Fondly"

"My husband and I could not say enough for the love and concern of those who served us from Hospice. What a blessing all of you were to us. I shall forever be grateful. Thank you so much."

"You were such a good friend to my husband – he thought so much of you. He and I looked forward to your visits and chats. Thank you so much – you went beyond the “call of duty.”

With much love -"

"Thank you so much for your wonderful loving care for our mother. She always loved the mornings you were to come!"
